Sarno, money and expensive gifts to 13-year-old for sex: arrested

A normal family day turns into a nightmare in Sarno , in the province of Salerno, when a father notices an unusual detail: his thirteen-year-old son comes home with a pair of designer shoes, too expensive to go unnoticed .

When asked for explanations, the boy cannot give convincing answers. So the parent decides to contact the State Police, triggering an investigation that led to the arrest of a 25-year-old, accused of serious sexual crimes .

The father of the 13-year-old shows up at the police station with an audio file containing conversations between his son and a young adult. The contents, according to investigators, are unequivocal.

Subsequent investigations led to the issuing of a custodial order in prison against DS, born in 2000 , resident in Sarno, carried out yesterday by the Salerno Flying Squad in collaboration with the local police station.

The provision, signed by the GIP Carlo Bisceglia of the Court of Nocera Inferiore , was requested by the Public Prosecutor's Office and concerns a very serious accusation: sexual acts with a minor aggravated by the age of the victim .

According to investigators' reconstructions, the suspect allegedly promised gifts and money in exchange for sexual services, using methods considered manipulative and predatory.

The minor was heard in a protected manner in the presence of a magistrate and a specialized psychologist. He said he had met the suspect through a friend and had received sexual proposals in exchange for material compensation .

For now, no evidentiary incident has been ordered, but a simple collection of information. The content of the recording delivered by the father is confirmed by the boy's words.

During the operation, a house search was carried out, with the support of the Cyber ​​Security Operations Section . Electronic devices attributable to the suspect were seized, inside which pornographic material was allegedly found, now under analysis by the investigators.

DS is currently being held in the prison of Salerno . This is, as required by law, a precautionary measure during the preliminary investigation phase : the young man is to be considered not guilty until a final sentence .

The order is subject to appeal. The 25-year-old is expected to be questioned by a judge in the next few hours.
