Lega Pro has officially announced the group lineup for the 2025/2026 Serie C championship, and Foggia Calcio has been placed, as expected, in Group C , the southernmost and most competitive in the category. The season will kick off on Sunday 24 August and end on 26 April 2026 , with three midweek rounds already scheduled and a single break on 28 December .
The Rossoneri are drawn in a high-intensity group, with derby-like matches and historic rivalries , starting with clashes with Monopoli, Audace Cerignola, and Casarano , and ending with the big clubs of the South like Catania, Salernitana, Benevento, Crotone, and Casertana . Rounding out the group are Atalanta U.23, AZ Picerno, Cavese, Cosenza, Giugliano, Latina, Potenza, Siracusa, Sorrento, Team Altamura, and Trapani .
The Italian Cup kicks off on August 17thThe Lega Pro Board of Directors has also established the calendar for the Serie C Italian Cup . The first round will be played on Sunday 17 August , while the subsequent stages will always be played on Wednesdays: the second round on 29 October , the round of 16 on 26 November , the quarter-finals on 10 December , the semi-finals on 14 and 28 January , with the first leg of the final on 18 March and the return leg on 1 April 2026 .
A championship not to be missedFor Foggia, who have experienced ups and downs in recent seasons, between promotion dreams and disappointments, this year promises to be crucial for their revival. Group C immediately appears to be one of the most challenging: heated clubs, demanding fans, and ambitious opponents.
