Six clips and a short film. The country's excellences on display

Six clips and a short film to tell citizens and visitors about the soul of the town. It's called 'Quella volta a Castel del Rio', the cultural and tourist enhancement project supported by the Alidosian municipality to raise awareness of the beauty of the upper Santerno valley, its thousand-year history and the uniqueness of its environmental resources. An authentic journey through the symbolic places of the town: the seventeenth-century Palazzo Alidosi, the iconic bridge and the War Museum. But also the routes dedicated to slow tourism, on foot and by mountain bike, the Santerno river with its breathtaking landscapes and the majestic forests that surround the town. Without forgetting the typical product par excellence of the area: the Marrone Igp di Castel del Rio . What makes the story unique, however, is the voice of those who live the territory every day: the inhabitants of Castel del Rio, the true protagonists of the project.
Young enthusiasts, local operators and those who, between memory and daily commitment, proudly guard its history and identity. The most direct and genuine way to convey a message made of authenticity, warmth and truth. A narration from below, choral and sincere, which restores the soul of a country deeply attached to its roots.
"The clips also tell the story of the tourist accommodation facilities, commercial activities and agricultural companies that animate the village - explain the mayor Alberto Baldazzi and the city councilor Raffaella Cantagalli -. Excellence of our Apennines that, with dedication and passion, contribute to keeping the economic and social fabric of the territory active".
And again: "The idea of telling Castel del Rio through short and effective visual tools had been in our thoughts for a long time - they add:. A trend that came to fruition thanks to contacts with the training body Com 2, accredited by the Emilia Romagna Region. From here the opportunity to meet two very young video makers who joined with enthusiasm and passion".
The aim is clear: on the one hand, to strengthen the sense of belonging and pride of the local community, on the other, to attract new visitors sensitive to a heritage that includes nature, history and culture. An increasingly aware and sustainable tourism, in tune with the rhythms of the hill: "A project that has entered our hearts - underline Sonia Gatti and Luca Donati, the two video makers who in recent days have been filming around the town -. In Castel del Rio we found great hospitality and a lot of availability. People have proudly described the territory and the stages of the evolution of a community more alive than ever".
Not only that. "In the upper valley life does not flow slowly but at normal speed, it is in the city that the pace is too accelerated - they reason -. A country with many opportunities for those who love relaxation, nature and a dive into the charm of history and culture. In the videos, then, we will also address the people's capacity for resilience in the face of recent natural disasters. We would never have believed we would find so much beauty, here there is enormous attractive and tourist potential".
Clips ready in the second half of May then publication on the social and institutional channels of the municipality. Materials that will also be made available to schools, operators and associations as a tool for storytelling and promotion.
