Dawn concerts in Riccione: La Niña warms the beach / Photos

Riccione, July 27, 2025 – Despite temperatures plummeting to 18 degrees, a large audience welcomed La Niña (real name Carola Moccia) this morning at 5:30 a.m., the star of the third installment of Albe in controluce , sunrise concerts on Riccione beach. Energetic and captivating, the artist thrilled audiences for over an hour with her fast-paced songs , engaging them with sustained applause.
The Neapolitan singer-songwriter and producer, one of the most original artists on the new Italian music scene, presented her new live show, the Furèsta Tour, accompanied on stage by musician and producer Alfredo Maddaluno on guitar, mandolin, and percussion, Francesca Del Duca on percussion, and Lydia Palumbo on backing vocals. It was a crescendo of notes that warmed up the audience, especially with the songs "Fortuna," "Pica Pica," and "Niña - Figlia d'a Tempesta." A unique journey through ancient melodies, traditional instruments like the chitarra battente, frame drums, and mandolin, and modern and electronic sounds, immersing the beach in a Mediterranean atmosphere.
The concert, which is part of the Riccione Summer Jazz program currently underway in Piazzale Ceccarini, was held on the public beach in Piazzale San Martino, rather than in the Marano area, to protect the first Caretta caretta turtle nest with around a hundred eggs, never before reported in the province of Rimini and still monitored day and night by volunteers, including those from Cetacea.
