Sunday, August 3, Caserta Royal Palace free admission: reservation required, apartments and royal park open

On Sunday, August 3, the Royal Palace of Caserta will join the Ministry of Culture's initiative, offering free admission to state museums and archaeological parks on the first Sunday of each month. The Royal Apartments and Royal Park are open. The Vanvitelli and Amelio Rooms, the Court Theatre, the Grand Gallery, the English Garden, and the Graefer Greenhouses are closed. To facilitate ticket collection and reduce lines in Piazza Carlo di Borbone, a portion of the tickets will be available for online distribution on the TicketOne platform, starting Monday, July 28, until sold out. The maximum number of tickets each account can collect is five (to prevent ticket touting). A further portion of the tickets will be available on-site, at the ticket office in Piazza Carlo di Borbone, starting at 8:30 a.m. on August 3, until stocks last. All visitors, including children aged two and over, must have an admission ticket. Tickets have a time slot for access to the Monument from outside. Entrance is not permitted before or after this time, not even to the Royal Park. Visitors who already have a ticket must proceed to the central gate in Piazza Carlo di Borbone or the one in Corso Giannone at the time indicated on their ticket. The Museum's opening and closing hours are: Royal Apartments from 8:30 am to 7:15 pm with last admission at 6:15 pm; Palatine Chapel from 8:30 am to 6:15 pm with last admission at 6:10 pm; Royal Park from 8:30 am to 7 pm with last admission at 6 pm.
