The Cesaroni return to the family, event in Giffoni on July 19th

After ten years, they are back more united and irresistible than ever: I Cesaroni are ready to write a new chapter in their story, and Giffoni will be the place to do it, meeting the audience who loved them in person. On July 19, the Festival will host a special event dedicated to "I Cesaroni - Il Ritorno", the new season of the iconic TV series, currently in production in Rome. Claudio Amendola, who returns to direct and play Giulio Cesaroni, will tell the behind-the-scenes story of this long-awaited restart, together with Matteo Branciamore, a historic face of the series, and the new protagonists Marta Filippi and Andrea Arru. The series, a Publispei - RTI/Mediaset co-production, written by Giulio Calvani, Federico Favot and Francesca Primavera and produced by Verdiana Bixio, will return to Canale 5 with twelve unreleased episodes. A story that starts from the heart of Garbatella, between new beginnings, old habits, increasingly intricate family ties and a business to save: the family wine shop, in crisis and at risk. In the cast, in addition to the historical protagonists, new characters arrive who promise to leave their mark: Olmo (Andrea Arru), a neurodivergent boy who enters the Cesaroni world with delicacy and strength, and Virginia (Marta Filippi), Marco's new partner. With them, Mimmo, Rudi, Walter, the inseparable Stefania and the usual Augusto, ready to complicate the situation. And in the midst of all this, Giulio Cesaroni, father, grandfather and entrepreneur, who tries to keep together a family where love is never lacking... even if sometimes a good dose of patience is needed.
