Abruzzo Regional Commission Says No to Snam Gas Pipeline

Abruzzo, governed by the center-right, says 'no' to the construction of the Snam gas pipeline that from Puglia, passing through the province of L'Aquila, arrives in Emilia Romagna.

The Environment Commission of the Abruzzo Regional Council has unanimously approved a resolution presented by opposition councilor, Democrat Pierpaolo Pietrucci, in which, among other things, the heads of the Regional Executive are committed to "supporting in all institutional venues, the position of absolute opposition of the Abruzzo Region to the 'Linea Adriatica' project".
