Exodus traffic, black dot on Saturday and red dot on Sunday

A weekend marked by a major summer exodus, with some good news on the eve: as of this morning, the redevelopment of the central reservation on the A4 motorway between Redipuglia and Lisert has been suspended. This decision, previously announced by Autostrade Alto Adriatico, will allow traffic to continue to travel on the two lanes, but at the standard width, not the construction lane, and with the emergency lane available. Work will resume in a month, at the end of the summer exodus season.
Tomorrow, Saturday, August 9th, traffic volume is expected to reach approximately 190,000 vehicles with "black sticker" traffic on the A4 motorway towards Trieste in the morning and afternoon, with likely delays on the two-lane stretch between San Donà di Piave and Portogruaro, at the seafront junctions, and at the Trieste/Lisert toll booth exit. Specifically, approximately 45,000 vehicles are expected to transit at the Lisert, Redipuglia, and Villesse exits.
Sunday, August 10th, a “red dot” day, always on the A4 and always in the direction of Trieste in the morning and afternoon.
Meanwhile, the first weekend of August was closed, despite the bad weather, with record traffic: 193,000 transits on Saturday (+3% compared to the previous year) and 181,000 on Sunday (+11%).
Heavy vehicles will not be able to circulate from 4pm to 10pm today, Friday 8 August, from 8am to 10pm on Saturday, and from 7am to 10pm on Sunday.
