Trieste Airport among the top 5 medium airports in Europe

Airport Council International (ACI) Europe has published the top 5 airports by traffic growth – among ACI’s 450 member airports in Europe – in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period last year*.

TRS, the Friuli Venezia Giulia airport, is the second largest medium-sized airport in this ranking. Passenger numbers in July 2025 also increased by 30% compared to the same month in 2024. The airport's growth continues, with passengers expected to exceed 1.65 million by the end of the year (up 136% from 2022).
