National Energy Income, Mase: 12,400 applications received

The results of the assessments conducted on the 12,400 applications received in 2025 for access to the National Energy Income (REN), the measure that allows low-income households to install a photovoltaic system to serve their residential property, will be available starting Saturday, July 12, on the GSE portal . "The National Energy Income represents a concrete measure to support families in greatest difficulty and ensure equal access to the benefits of the energy transition," said Minister Gilberto Pichetto . "The numbers confirm a strong response, especially in Southern Italy, where the social and economic impact of this tool can be decisive. With over 50 MW of new photovoltaic capacity, we are contributing not only to the fight against energy poverty but also to the growth of a more sustainable and distributed energy model. We will continue to strengthen these tools with the aim of making clean energy a right accessible to all."
The applications received represent a total financial commitment of over €100 million , with approximately €20 million allocated to the North and over €80 million to the South, confirming the strong participation in the areas most exposed to energy poverty. In terms of capacity, the approved requests translate into over 50 MW of new photovoltaic capacity installed. From the date of publication of the results, beneficiaries have 12 months to ensure the entry into service of the systems.
