Banca Generali, part of the Assicurazioni Generali group and operating in the integrated distribution market of banking, financial and insurance products, with consultancy and wealth management services, has continued to align its sustainability governance with the international guidelines promoted by the UN , OECD and European Union by updating its Sustainability Policy and implementing the Sustainability Dashboard and Climate Risk Assessment for monitoring sustainability issues by top management bodies.

Among the main activities in the ESG field, Standard Ethics analysts highlight the adoption of the climate transition plan for the Environment (E) side with reduction objectives by 2030 and net zero by 2040; the Diversity , Equity & Inclusion Strategy , which guided the initiatives during 2024 for the Social (S) area including obtaining the certification for gender equality ; and the anti-corruption policy for Governance (G), aligned with best practices in the field.

Furthermore, the offer of sustainable products and services exceeded the expectations of the 2022-2024 Plan, which was successfully concluded in 2024. During the 12 months, the activities related to Active Ownership were launched, also through specific reporting. The reporting is aligned with the requirements of the new Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

The new medium-term strategy is awaited, which will focus on the topic of artificial intelligence, a topic on which intense training and information activity is reported.
