Tenaris Dalmine distributes a super bonus to employees who earn between 14 and 16 thousand euros each

Arcore, June 24, 2025 – Tenaris Dalmine 's premium jumps up to 12% in one year. Record figures for workers, employees, and managers who earn between more than 14,000 and over 16,000 euros thanks to the results achieved in 2024 by the Oil & Gas giant.

An even more significant value if multiplied by the over 2 thousand employees, of which there are approximately 200 in the Arcore headquarters, plus the sites in Bergamo, where the parent company is located, and the Tuscan one in Piombino.

The historic agreement

“A historic trend – underlines Pietro Occhiuto, secretary of Fiom-Cgil Brianza – these figures are the result of an agreement consolidated over time”. The increase is linked to the best result in recent years achieved in the 2023 budget with turnover jumping to 1,781 million and net profit to 296 million.

In 2024, revenues fell to 1,519 million with a profit of 152 million; still, the second best result of the decade. The multinational is optimistic about the European recovery, which represents, "including Italy, almost 45% of the turnover", but underlines the phase of strong uncertainty of the economy. "No one knows how and when the issue of duties will end, a determining factor in a positive or negative sense: the wait, however, affects companies that tend to postpone investments".

Production and investments

In India, the Group started delivering two thousand tons per year of semi-finished products for cylinders for the automotive industry to Fjm in 2021-22, now it is almost 25 thousand per year. “It means that producing in Europe remains possible. The support to the industry that the new European Commission seems to be willing to give is fundamental”.

Despite the concerns about duties, the investment program, which in 2024 reached a record of 84 million, continues. In 5-6 years, with an expenditure of 250 million, it has affected all the activity and will be completed this year with a plan of over 50 million between summer maintenance - alone worth 20 - and modernization of the lines for another 10.

International collaborations

In recent meetings in Turkey, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni underlined the excellence of Dalmine, which together with Saipem is participating in the development of the Sakarya gas field. Among the most important orders, 15 thousand tons of pipes for Shell for an extraction project in the Gulf of Mexico and a 170 million contract with Total in Suriname.
