The third edition of the project “Step by step. Inclusion gyms” also ended successfully, with 60 direct beneficiaries (in addition to the 140 of previous editions) and another 500 people involved, for 100 hours of activities provided. A path, conceived by the social cooperative Thiel, in collaboration with Asufc, the Municipality of Palmanova, the Palmanova Comprehensive Institute and the financial support of the Friuli Foundation as part of the Welfare 2024 Call, which aims to create concrete opportunities for the inclusion of minors with disabilities and their families through the creation of recreational, artistic and creative workshops open to all citizens.

Many activities have been carried out in these 12 months: a card game workshop with Claudia Cantarin ; a songwriting workshop with Marco Anzovino ; a street art workshop with Michele Nardon who produced the mural in the garden of the “A. Muradore” Municipal Library in Palmanova; a crochet and knitting workshop with Isabella Pontel ; a theater workshop with Manuel Buttus for the second and third grade classes of the Palmanova middle school; a meeting with Marco Anzovino on the topic of prevention and well-being in adolescence with the third grade classes of the Palmanova middle school; a meeting with Marco Anzovino on the topic of prevention and well-being in adolescence for the parents of the students of the Palmanova IC; the musical show “Futura”, a tribute to Lucio Dalla told and sung by Marco Anzovino with the participation of Veronica Bitto and Cesare Coletti .

At the final initiative, the presentation of “Chi Palma trova!”, the card game created by children for children during the “Exploring with play” workshop created together with Claudia Cantarin of the Doppiofilo studio, the Councilor for Sport, Youth and Innovation of the Municipality of Palmanova, Thomas Trino , said: «We are proud to support the “Step by step. Inclusion gyms” project for the third consecutive year, which represents a concrete example of how culture, creativity and active participation can become powerful tools for inclusion. The workshop activities – from musical writing to theater – offer young people a space for expression, growth and relationships. In particular, the card game created starting from the illustrations created during the workshops is a beautiful example of how the talent of children can be transformed into value for the entire community. With the number of people involved, this project continues to generate impact and meaning. The Municipality of Palmanova is proud to be a partner and to invest in paths that build spaces of freedom and belonging, where every step is important, every voice has value and every young person can find their own way to express themselves".

Satisfaction was also expressed by Thiel, through its president, Luca Fontana , who added: «The project fully embodies our cooperative approach, based on working together, on inclusion and on caring for relationships, with the aim of generating widespread well-being and strengthening community ties. A heartfelt thanks goes to all the people who took part in the activities, to the families who trusted us, to the professionals who worked with skill and passion, to the partners who collaborated in a concrete and generous way. Finally, we thank the Friuli Foundation and the Municipality of Palmanova, whose support made the realization of this important experience possible. Together, step by step, we can truly build inclusion».
