Healthcare: Court of Auditors of Friuli Venezia Giulia, careful resource planning is needed

"A careful attention is needed "resource planning" and "unpostponable choices of definition of organizational models". These are the indications for as regards the health sector that the regional section of control of the Court of Auditors addresses to the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. reports the regional newspaper Rai Fvg that also highlights the lack of staff in all the specialty. According to what Rai reports, citing the judiciary accountant, community homes and hospitals, operations centers territorial, continuity of care units, the structures foreseen by the PNRR and by the reform of territorial assistance will not be able to be operational. A strengthening is also needed of the designated structures because there is a shortage of 233 nurses, 107 Oss, 118 rehabilitation professionals, 189 doctors continuity of care and 187 general practitioners. For the latter, in some areas, such as in Carnia and in Livenza, are deficiencies of 38% and 35% respectively; of 39% in the Upper Isonzo. The Tgr also focuses on the family doctors: they have an average of 1,521 patients each, but the optimal ratio would be one doctor for every 1,300 patients. It is therefore necessary, suggests the Court of Auditors, bargaining, procrastinating negotiations could have an impact negatively on the service. The signing of the Agreements regional integrations should have taken place by the 28th October 2023 but the deadline was not met.
