Ever hotter in Italy. Today, Wednesday 25 June, and tomorrow, Thursday 26, temperatures will rise further, squeezing many cities in the grip of the heat with possible repercussions on health. Today, 13 will be those with an orange dot and tomorrow it will be worse with 6 provincial capitals marked with a red dot. This is what emerges from the bulletin on heat waves prepared by the Ministry of Health with data from 27 cities and forecasts for 24, 48 and 72 hours.

Prelude to a 'super muggy' Thursday today, 13 cities will suffer the most from the heat: Ancona, Bologna, Bolzano, Brescia, Campobasso, Florence, Frosinone, Milan, Perugia, Rome, Turin, Venice and Verona.

Where the maximum alert is triggered

Tomorrow there will be a red dot (alert level 3, the highest, which indicates emergency conditions with possible negative effects on health) in 6 cities: Bologna, Florence, Turin, Bolzano, Brescia and Perugia. It will not be cool in the rest of Italy, because there will be an orange dot (alert level 2) in Ancona, Campobasso, Frosinone, Latina, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Pescara, Rieti, Rome, Venice and Verona.
