Valdinievole, August 11, 2025 – The mayors of Valdinievole support Bernard Dika's increasingly imminent candidacy in the upcoming regional elections. Claudio Del Rosso, Simona De Caro, Nicola Tesi, and Daniele Bettarini are among the mayors of the area who have come forward to endorse the candidacy of Eugenio Giani 's spokesperson.
A young man born and raised in Valdinievole who has successfully navigated the challenging world of politics. Del Rosso emphasizes that " Montecatini needs President Giani's direct commitment: on spas, tourism, services, and infrastructure. Knowing that our region can be represented by the person closest to him , like Bernard Dika, is a guarantee that our city and Valdinievole will be a priority in the Region. Bernard is also a personal friend, but above all, a person of great value and talent."
Del Rosso's departure, along with De Caro's, underscores the unity of purpose between the two administrations ahead of the regional elections. The mayor of Monsummano stated, "Bernard is a son of the Valdinievole, raised among us, facing the same challenges and needs as our children and grandchildren. He knows this land and knows that its future depends on courageous, concrete, and humane decisions . At 27 years of age, and with the experience gained from working alongside President Eugenio Giani for six years as his spokesperson, he is the person best equipped to represent us in the regional council. He has the expertise of someone who understands the administrative machinery and the freshness of someone who can look ahead while giving the Valdinievole the weight it deserves. We believe Bernard is the strongest candidate: young, competent, with institutional experience and deep roots in the region. He is the right man at the right time to bring Pistoia and the Valdinievole back to the center of the regional agenda."
Daniele Bettarini, mayor of Buggiano , is among Dika's supporters. "I remember him as a very young man," he emphasizes, "taking his first steps, wisely guided by the late Antonio Pappalardo (then mayor of Larciano ). His qualities and surprising maturity for his age were already evident then; he has grown and evolved in the best sense of the word. These are the figures who should emerge in every democratic political group to bring people together and inspire passion." Nicola Tesi , mayor of Ponte Buggianese, is another admirer of the candidacy. "Bernard Dika," he maintains, "is the candidate who finally breaks down the dualism of the Pistoia Democratic Party, that new name, who defeats too many Pied Pipers and snake oil salesmen and who finally puts young people at the center."
