The referendum campaign has also started with momentum in Arezzo in view of the consultation on 8 and 9 June, which will see citizens called to express their opinion on five important questions: four to protect the dignity and safety of work and one on reducing the time to obtain Italian citizenship.

The Democratic Party, in line with the position taken at the national level, firmly adheres to the Referendum Committees, promoted together with political forces, associations and trade unions. Even at the local level, the PD is committed to promoting and spreading the reasons for the YES, through moments of discussion, information and presence in the places of the city.

Last Saturday, the democratic militants participated in the market of via Giotto with an information point, while on Monday a well-attended Municipal Assembly was held which saw the involvement of city councilors, members, supporters and representatives of the CGIL. Next Saturday, May 17, again at the market of via Giotto in Arezzo with the information point.

During the meeting, the contents of the five referendums were explored in depth and the position of the national secretariat of the Democratic Party was reiterated: five YES votes for change, for an Italy that puts rights, the dignity of work and social justice back at the centre.

There were numerous interventions, including personal testimonies that strongly touched on the theme of precariousness and risks at work, confirming the centrality of these battles in people's daily lives.

The PD of Arezzo invites all citizens to go to the polls on 8 and 9 June and to vote YES to the five referendums, for a more just, safe and welcoming country.

We defend the dignity of work, we say no to precariousness, yes to citizenship, yes to security.
