Pd, Schlein must resign after the referendum flop (Landini no). And FdI takes flight at 30.5%. Poll

A real blow for the secretary of the Democratic Party: 63.7% of Italians believe that Elly Schlein should resign after the failure of the referendums on work and citizenship on June 8 and 9. The Democratic leader should instead remain in office only for 36.3% of the sample. This is the main result of the survey carried out for Affaritaliani.it by Roberto Baldassari, general director of the polling institute Lab21. The opinion on the secretary of the CGIL Maurizio Landini is very different: he should resign for 40.9% of those interviewed, but the majority of Italians (59.1%) think he should remain in office.

The main losers due to the failure to reach the quorum and the flop of voter turnout are the PD and Elly Schlein with 42.7% . They are followed by Maurizio Landini and the unions with 31.3% and then the centre-left parties in general (21.1%).

Among the parties , in voting intentions, Brothers of Italy jumps to 30.5% - probably thanks to the referendum flop -, neck and neck between the League and Forza Italia. All the left-wing parties are declining.
