Voting will take place on Sunday and Monday in 117 municipalities. Four provincial capitals will be voting, including Genoa and Taranto

Almost 2 million voters involved in the vote. Residents abroad registered with AIRE can also vote: 117 municipalities in the regions with ordinary statutes and nine municipalities under special commissionership in Sicily will go to vote on Sunday 25 May and Monday 26 May. The polling stations will be open on Sunday, from 7 am to 11 pm, and on Monday, from 7 am to 3 pm.
