Giro d'Italia, today the fifteenth stage: time, route and where to see it

The Giro d'Italia returns with the fifteenth stage . Today, Sunday 25 May , it's the turn of the 15th stage of the Corsa Rosa : 219 kilometres from Fiume Veneto to Asiago, a route with four stars of difficulty. A pre-Alpine stage, which will take the caravan to Monte Grappa, reaching a total difference in altitude of 3,900 metres . The leader of the general classification is still the Mexican Isaac Del Toro , with a 1'20" advantage over the first pursuer Simon Yates .

But what will the route of the fifteenth stage of the Giro d'Italia be like? It will start from the Fiume Veneto in Friuli and then enter Veneto. The riders will then cross Treviso and the Piave, passing through the intermediate sprint of San Martino Colle Umberto. The stage will advance along the Prosecco vineyard areas before Monte Grappa, and then go into Belluno, towards the Altopiano and with a finish in Asiago.

After a first part of a flat route, 100 km from the start the climb of Monte Grappa will begin along the Strada Cadorna. The last 20 kilometers are quite undulating, approaching the finish line.

The fifteenth stage of the Giro d'Italia will start at 11:25. The free-to-air live TV coverage of the 108th edition of the Corsa Rosa will be provided by Rai Sport and Rai 2 (free streaming on Rai Play), while the subscription-based live TV coverage will be available on Eurosport 1.
