Stefano Zampoli will defend the Italian champions' goal for the 2025-26 season as well: he will soon begin his fifth season with the Vicenza-based club, starting with the first matchday of the next Serie A1 championship (October 12) against Azzurra Novara. The Veneto club's management announced the confirmation of the Prato-born goalkeeper. Zampoli, who trained at HP Maliseti and is now 26, at the peak of his technical and competitive maturity, is preparing for what will be his fifth season in Trissino, with the usual goal: to excel in Italy and Europe. Winning is almost a given in those parts: with his arrival in Veneto in 2021, Stefano has added solidity to an already competitive squad, capable of winning three Scudetti, a Champions League, an Intercontinental Cup, two Coppa Italia titles, and two Italian Super Cups in the last four years. Successes to which Zampoli contributed. And on this foundation, he can aim to further enhance his trophy case. With an eye on the national team, of which he has long been a key figure. Looking ahead, the first trophy of the new season could arrive in just over a month: Trissino will face Amatori Lodi in the double-header for the Italian Super Cup, scheduled for September 27th (first leg) and October 5th (return). In short, he will not lack motivation.
