Ischia Calcio restarts: training for the 2025/26 season begins tomorrow.

The summer air in Ischia brings with it a sense of renewal, and this year more than ever, it's felt in the enthusiasm surrounding SSD Ischia Calcio. Preparations for the 2025/26 season will officially begin on Monday, July 28th, the Gialloblù's third consecutive Serie D campaign. This important continuity testifies to the solidity of the technical project and the club's determination to consolidate its position among the leading clubs in the national amateur scene.

The training camp will be held at the Enzo Mazzella Stadium, the beating heart of Ischian football. This decision wasn't a coincidence, but rather the result of careful consideration by the club. As president Pino Taglialatela explained, a well-known location in Lazio was initially considered for the preseason training camp, but in the end, continuity and local roots prevailed. "Remaining on Ischia," he stated, "means allowing new arrivals to settle in more quickly, immediately immersing themselves in the team's technical and human environment."

The first training session is scheduled for 5:30 PM on Monday the 28th, with the group working until August 13th in preparation for the official season opener, scheduled for Sunday, August 24th, in the Coppa Italia. Two weeks later, on September 7th, it will be league time, marking the beginning of the long and challenging journey towards new goals.

A well-established technical team will once again lead the organizational structure. Franco Impagliazzo, a historic figure in Sardinian football, will continue as Technical Director, working closely with Coach Alessio Martino and General Manager Marco Ferrante. The entire coaching staff has been confirmed: Alfredo Sarno will oversee athletic preparation, while the goalkeeping team will be managed by Luigi Mennella and Michele Migliaccio, two experienced professionals who were already integral to last season.

The Technical Staff: Franco Impagliazzo is the Technical Director. He will work closely with Head Coach Alessio Martino and General Manager Marco Ferrante.
