Three distances to tackle to please all types of trailers and celebrate in the right way the tenth anniversary of the Trail Sacred Forests, the Badia Prataglia (AR) event that reaches an important milestone. It seems like yesterday when the organizers of the local Asd decided to embrace the idea of ​​an off-road sports competition, over the years the event has grown to the point of even hosting the world championships of the specialty, earning enormous international credit, so much so that there are always many foreign runners who come to Tuscany to participate.

As mentioned, there will be three routes to choose from on Sunday 1 June. The main one is 50 km long with a difference in altitude of 3,000 metres. A very tough test, in which there is always a large selection that rewards big names in the specialty every year. Last year the winners were Luca Zamagni (Sp Seven) and Roberta Feliciani (Podisti Due Castelli). The medium route is still challenging with its 25 km for 1,500 metres, and finally there is the short route of 14 km for 800 metres that can also be tackled in the non-competitive version. The routes are all designed along the paths of the Casentinesi Forests National Park, Monte Falterona and Campigna.

To participate in the event, valid for the GP Iuta of Ultra Trail and for the Appennini Trail Series circuit, the cost is 55 euros for the long, 35 for the medium and 20 for the short (15 for the non-competitive) with the deadline on May 28. The organizers have set a maximum limit of 400 participants for the two main routes and 300 for the short.

The departures, which will all be from Piazza XIII Aprile, will be differentiated by time: at 7:00 for the 50 km, at 8:30 for the 25 km, at 9:00 for the 14 km in both versions. By visiting the event website there is also the possibility of finding logistical solutions at agreed prices, to be part of the game and enjoy one of the main classics of the Italian off-road calendar.
