The Lucchese received in the Municipality (Alcide)
Lucca, May 23, 2025 – After the bankruptcy declaration issued by the Court of Lucca on Thursday morning, Lucchese 1905 is preparing to celebrate 120 years since its foundation. On Sunday, May 25, at 11 am, as usual, the traditional ceremony will take place under the plaque dedicated to the foundation of Lucchese , behind the choir of the church of San Michele. Immediately afterwards, the traveling exhibition will be inaugurated, consisting of 15 panels that will tell the story of the Rossoneri team thanks to the shots of Foto Alcide , celebrating the most significant moments and the protagonists who have marked its time. The whole thing will take place in the historic center with the exhibition route that will form a real Rossoneri itinerary . A panel will be dedicated to the foundation of the club, one for each decade of sporting history, as well as two special focuses on the fans and the statistics of the most iconic footballers. The initiative was curated by the municipal administration in collaboration with Lucca United. Throughout the month of June, the city will also host a series of themed conferences, organized in various venues in the area, which will retrace the iconic moments of Panera from the 1970s to today. The city schools will also be involved with themed educational initiatives, while the Rossoneri museum, under the west curve of the Porta Elisa stadium, will be an integral part of the program, offering visits and activities related to the history of the club. “Remembering the season just ended, 2024-2025: dramatic and intense. A year in which, despite the well-known difficulties, the team group, the technical staff and the collaborators of Lucchese honored the shirt and defended the colors of the city with dignity, commitment and passion, offering the possibility of a dignified and adequate future to the club. For this they were received at Palazzo Orsetti by the mayor Mario Pardini and the sports councilor Fabio Barsanti , who gave them an official recognition on behalf of the entire Lucca community”.
