NBA Play-offs, Indiana also wins game 2 against New York. Siakam scores 39 points

The Indiana Pacers defeated the New York Knicks 114-109 in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals of the NBA playoffs , a game decided only in the final stages at Madison Square Garden, to take a 2-0 series lead. The tie was broken thanks to four consecutive free throws made by the visitors in the final 14 seconds.

Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson scored 36 points but failed to make the difference in the crunch, as New York suffered its second defeat after losing Game 1 badly in overtime after blowing a 14-point lead with less than three minutes left in the game.

The Pacers' top scorer was Cameroonian Pascal Siakam , with 39 points. The series moves to Indianapolis, where the next two games will be played, and the Pacers also have good precedents because, since the best-of-seven series has been played, teams that have won their first two road games have won 92% of the time.
