Real Forio, Mister Sanchez's new course begins with enthusiasm and work

Real Forio is starting over with desire, enthusiasm, and the lively atmosphere typical of first-time matches. The island team's preseason preparations officially began last Friday, with coach Carlo Sanchez leading a significantly revamped squad. Following the first training sessions, the coach spoke about the atmosphere in the locker room, the bond with the fans, and the expectations that will accompany this new beginning.
"Great, with enthusiasm and a great desire to work," Sanchez begins. His tone is that of someone who understands that the work, in these first few days, isn't measured solely in kilometers traveled or exercises completed, but above all in building a shared identity.
"We've assembled a great team," he emphasizes, "but above all, there's a great desire to get to know each other. This is the most important goal of the preparation: beyond the physical and athletic aspects, it's about creating harmony, mutual understanding, and cohesion."
Real Forio presents itself with a new face, enriched by numerous additions that are forcing the coaching staff to accelerate the integration process. "It's a completely new group," explains the coach, "and that's why every session is crucial. So far, everything is going well, and that's encouraging."
But what makes the difference, once again, is the warmth of the green-and-white crowd. Surprisingly, on the first day of training, a group of fans visited the team, bringing greetings, chants, and an unending enthusiasm. "In a tourist destination like ours," Sanchez notes, "it's significant that someone takes time off work to come and say hello. This makes us proud, but at the same time it gives us a responsibility: we must repay this affection with daily commitment, training with conviction, and always giving our all."
For the coach, the key will be dedication and teamwork. The goal, not too subtle, is to build something significant, but the first, essential step is commitment. "The fans want nothing more from us," he concludes, "and we have a duty to repay them every day." In short, in Forio, they're back to running. But above all, they've regained their faith.
