Prato, July 2, 2025 – Podistica Pratese returns to honor the memory of Serena, a young runner who 25 years ago never managed to reach training with her team: a tragic road accident interrupted her run in life too soon. Since then, every year, the sports club remembers her with an event that combines sport, emotion and solidarity.

Here THE RANKING

The organization is taken care of, as always, by the president Raffaele Moccia, who also from the new headquarters in Poggio a Caiano continues to do things in grand style. The race has followed the movements of the team over time: from Tavola di Prato to Seano, up to the current and functional location.

The format is now consolidated: we start at sunset, for an event that has become a symbol of the sunset that meets memory. The route, of about 10 km competitive, is as always traced with great attention, impeccably marked and supervised by dozens of volunteers. Along the banks of the Ombrone, we cross the Manetti bridge and enter the suggestive Parco della Piana, part of the Cascine di Tavola, which welcomes participants in an embrace of greenery and peace. There is also a reduced route for walkers and, upon arrival, the traditional refreshment with pasta party at the social headquarters. The solidarity service by ETS "Give me a smile" is a must, a fixed presence where sport and generosity meet. An event that is not just a race: it is an act of love, a way to keep Serena's memory alive, transforming pain into sharing and hope.
