Sinner returns to the court in Cincinnati: his debut against Galan tomorrow at 10 p.m.

Jannik Sinner is ready to return to the court after his triumph at Wimbledon . The Italian, currently world number one, will make his debut on Saturday, August 9th at the Cincinnati Masters 1000, the last American hard-court tournament before the US Open . The Italian will play his first match directly in the second round, thanks to the bye reserved for the higher seeds. His opponent will be Colombian Daniel Elahi Galan.

When does Jannik Sinner play?

Sinner will take to the court on Center Court and will be the protagonist of the third match of the day , scheduled after Swiatek–Potapova and Paul–Martinez. The matches on Center Court will start at 5:00 p.m. Italian time (11:00 a.m. local time), so Sinner is scheduled to take the court around 10:00 p.m. Italian time , barring any delays. After the long post-Wimbledon break, Sinner has chosen to skip the Masters 1000 in Toronto to better recover, especially after the elbow problems he suffered during the grass-court season. Cincinnati represents the first real test ahead of the US Open, which starts on August 26 in New York.
