"We are very happy to participate, we are happy to be able to entertain so many people on the field and in the stands". Francesco Totti said this, together with some of the greatest champions of Italian football today he is participating in the Zaccheria Foggia stadium at 'Cur in Campo', an event that was born with the aim of uniting sport, solidarity and community. With him there will be Simone Tirobocchi, Stefano Fiore, Cristian Panucci, Vincent Candela, Marco Amelia, Stefano Sorrentino, Fabio Quagliarella and Domenico Botticella (who replaces Sorrentino on the field who is present but injured due to a muscle problem).

The initiative, after the first two editions held in Frosinone, arrives in Foggia.

It will be a show match with the presence of eight former champions of Italian football and a group of citizens who, through charity auctions, have won a place on the pitch and the official shirt. The proceeds of the auction will be donated to the Diocesan Caritas of Foggia-Bovino for projects to support families and the most vulnerable groups of the population. Meeting the press with Totti before the match, Cristian Panucci recalled his first goal scored in Foggia, on 18 October 1992 when he wore the Genoa shirt in Serie A at the Zaccheria in a Foggia-Genoa match that ended 2-2.

"Luigi Di Biagio also scored a goal with the red and black jersey - he said - We often remember this episode. We hope to entertain especially the children this evening. Our world has always been linked to charity and fun since we are former footballers and what we bring around, beyond our profession, is certainly entertaining people and making them spend a nice evening. We are happy to be in Foggia to give an emotion". Also present at the press conference were the mayor of Foggia Maria Aida Episcopo and the sports councilor Domenico Di Molfetta.
