Werder Bremen vs Udinese, prestigious friendly on August 9th

A prestigious international friendly will see Runjaic's Udinese take on Werder Bremen, eighth in last season's Bundesliga and boasting four German Championships and a Cup Winners' Cup, away from home.

The pre-season challenge will be the last high-level test for the Bianconeri in view of their debuts in the Coppa Italia and Serie A. The match will be played on Saturday 9 August, at 15:30, at the Weserstadion, a modernized stadium capable of holding 42 thousand spectators. In the past, Werder Bremen had already crossed paths with the Friulians on two official occasions: during the group stage of the 2005/06 Champions League and during the 2008/09 UEFA Cup.
