The caravan of books from the publisher Il Viandante is leaving

Books that travel aboard a caravan transformed into a real library, ready to reach old and new readers in the streets and squares of villages between Marche and Abruzzo. This is the initiative conceived by Arturo Bernava and Maria Emery, publishers of the brands Il Viandante and Clarifications, with the aim of trying to bring reading even in those places where there isn't even a bookshop stationary. The caravan journey will begin on July 12th from Marche, in Fabriano, and then continuing on to Abruzzo - passing through the others from Roccaraso, Pineto, Calascio, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Rivisondoli - until arriving in Scontrone (Aq) on the 7th and August 8th. The caravan - designed by the interior designer Ruggero Regini and made by the craftsman Manuel Argalia of Fabriano - will host approximately a thousand titles, initially all titles of Il Viandante, Chiaredizioni and Quid (more Group brand), but the publishers do not exclude hosting in future also other brands. There will be a large exhibition outside, an exhibition space, with tables and chairs for workshops and presentations, protected by a tent positioned on the roof. Readers will be able to purchase pens, pencils and personalized notebooks but also t-shirts, mugs and more merchandising. After this first tour, the publishers' idea is to open, in over the next three years, several such points, for create a real franchising network. "Presidential many parts of our beautiful Italy with as many 'libraries' 'del Viandante' is our dream, a dream that starts from this first prototype but which, we are sure, could materialize soon. We believe in it and we have been working on it for some time now", they affirm.
