Clinic searched after death of young Saltillo man during cosmetic procedure in Monterrey

To search for clues that will help strengthen the investigation into the case of a young woman from Saltillo who died after undergoing a cosmetic procedure, officers from the Nuevo León Attorney General's Office and the Ministry of Health conducted a search of the office located in the Obispado neighborhood of Monterrey.

The procedure took place on Wednesday afternoon at the Specialist Medical Building.

The young woman who died was identified as Jaqueline “N,” 25 years old, originally from Saltillo, Coahuila , who traveled to this capital for a cosmetic procedure.

The building remains guarded by members of the Ministerial Police and the Monterrey police.

The exact cause of the young woman's death is still unknown . She died at the University Hospital , where she was transferred after alleged complications that arose during her cosmetic procedure at the clinic she attended.

Earlier, the state Attorney General's Office had already confirmed that the search would be carried out to incorporate data into the investigation file and determine responsibility.
