Northern Alaska – The meeting between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin in Alaska ended with an unusual agreement: to build an ice wall and patrol it with bears personally trained by the Russian president.

The highly anticipated meeting between the two leaders concluded with both nations pledging to protect the Arctic with the frozen wall, which—from the outset—will be larger than China 's and better guarded.

Trump assured that it will be a beautiful wall that will be used to collect tariffs from Santa

“ This wall will be beautiful, clean, and huge. Not only will it stop illegal sea lions from the North Pole, but it will also be used to collect tariffs from Santa Claus ,” Trump explained after the meeting with his Siberian counterpart.

For his part, Putin, who arrived at the meeting riding a shirtless bear, noted that local wildlife will be key to border security, also assuring that each bear will be personally trained by the now-defunct KGB to monitor the Bering Strait and thus prevent migrations like those of the past.

The agreement, which both leaders said was "historic ," provides for the wall to remain frozen thanks to ICE agents constantly pouring ice cubes over it, while the bears will receive freshly caught salmon at the base as payment for their services.

This far exceeded expectations for the meeting, as significant issues affecting both nations would have been resolved, leaving only the division of Canada 's territory for the next bilateral meeting.
