Coahuila: Múzquiz records second earthquake in less than 24 hours

For the second time in less than 24 hours, the municipality of Múzquiz recorded an earthquake, according to the National Seismological Service (SSN) . So far, no damage has been reported in the Coahuilán town.
According to the SSN, the 4.3 magnitude earthquake occurred at 5:58 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 133 kilometers west of the aforementioned municipality, near a location where a tremor also occurred the day before.

“EARTHQUAKE Magnitude 4.3 Loc 133 km WEST of CD MELCHOR MUZQUIZ, COAH 05/06/25 17:58:32 Lat 27.59 Lon -102.82 Pf 7 km,” the SSN noted in its X account.
So far, neither authorities nor citizens on social media have reported any damage to people or infrastructure as a result of the earthquake.
This is the second earthquake recorded in Múzquiz in less than 24 hours, following a 5.3 magnitude earthquake at 9:26 p.m. on Tuesday, one of the highest magnitudes ever recorded in the state.
