Donkey Kong asked Wreck-It Ralph for the task and thought no one would notice.
Selva Copiona.- Users around the world were quick to notice that the new Donkey Kong video game, announced by Nintendo, looks suspiciously like a certain giant demolition monster from another company.
Footage shown in a recent Nintendo Direct revealed that this time, the block-breaking gorilla won't be alone, but will be accompanied by Pauline, a rising singer who has become a sort of "jungle Vanellope."

Since the official announcement of the new game Donkey Kong: Bananza, fans began to wonder if Nintendo had lost its inspiration... or if Donkey simply asked Ralph for the task and copied everything, even his hairstyle.
This new Donkey seems to remind us of someone...“ They just changed his shirt for a stuffed animal and made him cuter,” one gamer accused upon seeing the first trailer for the game.
The controversy has escalated so much that even Disney has spoken out on the matter, warning Nintendo to "not go too far with the recycled apes; at a loss, they would have given us credit for the shrunken Paulina."

Meanwhile, the game's developers maintain that any resemblance to Ralph is purely coincidental, and that the idea of Donkey Kong accompanied by a girl had existed since the first Nintendo game.
"No, Disney asked us for the assignment first. That's why in the movie you see Ralph acting like the first NES Donkey ," the Nintendo president retorted, attempting to brush off accusations of plagiarism.
