IMSS denies rumors about elevator collapse at HGZ No. 7 in Monclova

The Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Coahuila categorically denied rumors about an alleged elevator collapse at the General Hospital Zone (HGZ) No. 7, located in Monclova.

According to official information, a person entered the elevator despite signs indicating it was "out of service" for maintenance. However, the technical report confirms that there was no loss of stability or risk of the equipment collapsing.
The IMSS reiterated that the safety of beneficiaries, visitors and staff is a priority, and that all elevators are subject to constant inspection and maintenance to ensure their proper functioning and prevent incidents .
" The information circulating about the alleged collapse is completely false. There were no injuries and the elevator remains safe for use," institute officials assured.
With this clarification, the institution seeks to curb the spread of fake news that generates alarm among the public and reaffirm its commitment to security within its facilities.
