Investigations into Pablo Jared's disappearance continue.

Investigations into Pablo Jared's disappearance continue.

The investigation into the disappearance of Pablo Jared Vallejo Adame, which occurred on July 30, remains open.

However, the search in the area where the van was found, in which he was traveling to Químicas del Rey, has been declared complete. The Durango State Commission for the Search for Persons remains alert to the possibility of new leads in other areas in order to launch a new operation.

Carlos Burciaga Rosales, head of the Durango Search Commission, reported that a few weeks ago, a virtual meeting was held with representatives of the National Human Rights Commission (CNDH), the National Search Commission, and the Attorney General's Offices of the states of Durango and Coahuila. Members of the Coahuila Search Commission were also present.

Pablo Jared's family members participated in this meeting, where they were provided with detailed information about the operations carried out, the forensic reports conducted, and their concerns were addressed.

"We are always ready, ready to act immediately if a new operation is required. We haven't stopped searching, but it's important to note that these actions cannot be carried out without clear clues; it's not just a matter of going into the field without any evidence to guide the search," Burciaga explained.

He added: " As far as we know, the actions in that area have already been exhausted. If new evidence were to emerge elsewhere, action would have to be taken accordingly. The investigation remains open, and the operational component of our Commission remains active, ready to be activated when indicated."

The official announced that a new meeting will be held in the coming days between authorities from both states and Pablo Jared's family, although it has yet to be determined whether it will be in person or virtual.

Regarding the CNDH's participation in the previous meeting, Burciaga stated that it was due to a complaint filed by the family. "Their presence seeks to follow up on the authorities' actions. We gave a very comprehensive explanation of the status of the files in both Coahuila and Durango, as well as the search efforts by both state commissions. We have been collaborating with all the information the National Commission requests, and we are always fully willing to assist families seeking answers, whether in this or any other case."
