Resources and equipment in rustic stone, what Casa FOA left behind

Resources and equipment in rustic stone, what Casa FOA left behind

Casa FOA 2025, Córdoba edition , took place from April 16 to May 18, and Guillermo Ciocca was present in six spaces. With different formats and applications, stone and versatility reign supreme in all his works.

Among the collection presented at the exhibition, four pieces stand out: gneiss, a local stone that has been worked to create very different elements. The diverse finishes and colors demonstrate an experience that multiplies possibilities.

“We really enjoyed participating in another edition of Casa FOA because we can showcase what we do and how we can work on the same element in so many different ways, adapting to the client's requests,” said María José Brandán, teammate of the brand.

In addition to its current product portfolio, the company is also expanding its coatings and ironworks business units.

Going into detail, Ciocca is the designer of a single-piece carved coffee table, stone shelves, light fixtures, and candle holders for Estar Brut Nature Estudio Btta/Conti (Space 12); a sculpture for a living space by Gustavo Limperis, Ramiro Urtubey, and Verónica Sanchis (Space 23); three stone tables, each measuring 3 meters long, for the cafeteria by Lucas Ramaciotti and El Charly de Güemes (Space 31); a side table for Estudio Rocca (Space 38); a travertine bench in the bathrooms by Roca Arquitectas, Amira Jalil, and Juliana Cabello (Space 41); and a bonsai holder for the Auditorium by Alba and Martín Enricci (Space 42).

Ciocca is a Cordoba-based company that creates unique stone pieces for practical use in architecture, design, and gastronomy. With over 10 years of experience, its products are exclusive, on-demand , and increasingly diverse.

Development ranges from idea to installation, and we always work to ensure that reality exceeds expectations.

In line with current trends in sustainability, the brand focuses on hand-carved stone as a material that enhances spaces. Its works highlight the nobility of the material, in harmony with the surroundings.

Stone is distinguished by its authenticity and visual strength. It is insulating, durable, and flexible in design. In architecture, it allows us to take advantage of nature's offerings, understand its traceability, and reduce waste and toxicity.

For all these reasons, each of Ciocca's works invites us to connect with the environment, the energy of each mineral, and the millions of years of history that the material holds. Combined with light, his works provide warmth, comfort, relaxation, solidity, and surprise.

Self-defined as creators of wearable pieces of art, their evolution has seen them acquire the credentials of a product that is also a service: the creative process is carried out side by side with the recipient of the work, with attention paid to every detail.

Feasibility and safety also play a role in creation. María José exemplified: “Stone looks great anywhere, but it's heavy. It requires a lot of research before finalizing the project.”

Finally, installation and after-sales service are key to a perfect project, and everything comes in the Ciocca combo.

“A hybrid if there ever was one, working like this can be something unusual, beautiful, and interesting. Guillermo is a sculptor and supplier, an artist and installer. This is a challenging undertaking. Without a doubt, it's a true privilege to be the only ones doing this in the country. When someone asks him to do something out of the ordinary, Guille's face lights up, and nothing scares him,” Brandán concluded.
