The government has prevented the production of 941 million doses of methamphetamine.

In the nearly eight months of the six-year term, Federal Forces prevented the production of 941 million doses of methamphetamine.

The above, according to the biweekly report from the SSPC presented this Tuesday at President Claudia Sheinbaum 's morning conference.

In a clip, the Security Cabinet reported that "1,150 clandestine laboratories and areas used to manufacture methamphetamine have been destroyed, equivalent to 941 million doses that will never reach the streets."

The sheets shown by Omar García Harfuch , head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), on average, almost 55 sites of this type were dismantled in the 21 entities in which they were located.

On the other hand, to date, no drug labs have been reported in Aguascalientes, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Mexico City, Coahuila, Colima, Jalisco, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Veracruz, and Yucatán.

Yesterday, the SSPC reported that Federal Forces discovered and destroyed a "narco laboratory" valued at 2 billion pesos (mmdp).

In a statement, the agency headed by García Harfuch reported that members of the National Guard, the Army, and the State Police located the site in the town of Tlacamilco, in the municipality of Acajete.

"(dedicated) to the production of methamphetamine, where they seized 2,820 liters and 100 kilos of substances for the production of methamphetamine, 2,050 kilos of caustic soda, 6 organic synthesis reactors, 6 condensers and 14 LP gas tanks (…) The economic impact on criminal organizations is 2,505 million pesos," detailed the SSPC.

On the other hand, the SSPC reported that over the weekend they seized 1.2 tons of the drug in three states.

The above is in the Operation Northern Border report; the largest seizure took place in Sinaloa, with 746 kilos.

The second seizure was in Baja California, where 420 kilos of methamphetamine, a long gun, and a property were seized in Tijuana, the capital.

And in Chihuahua, members of the Defense and Attorney General's Office (FGR) searched a trailer transporting onions and seized 100 kilos of methamphetamine, just over half a ton of marijuana, and 3 kilos of heroin.

In two operations in Manzanillo, Colima, the Navy seized chemical precursors that were used to manufacture up to 10 tons of methamphetamine.

This Monday, the Mexican Navy reported that, in collaboration with the Customs Agency and the Attorney General's Office (FGR), it carried out the aforementioned seizures at the Port of Manzanillo.

In a statement, the agency reported that its officers "seized approximately 6,602 liters of propionyl chloride and 21,000 kilograms of glacial acetic acid at the port."

These chemicals were found inside 55 dairy farms.
