In an incident that might make a possible secession from those parts not sound so far-fetched, a Monterrey resident became agitated while on a flight from Mazatlán to Monterrey, even going so far as to offend a flight attendant.
The beautiful scene took place mid-flight when a woman stopped at the bathroom to change her child. When she tried to return to her seat, the flight attendants were already serving refreshments, so she couldn't get in.
This, coupled with the fact that there were no grilled carnitas on the menu, aroused the ire of the Monterrey native, who demanded that his wife (and likely a relative) be allowed through, regardless of whether the airline catering cart got in the way.
