The private sector is confident that the U.S. government will be able to integrate the semiconductor chapter into the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) due to the country's high value in the supply chain, said Alfredo Castillo, director general of the National Chamber of the Electronics, Telecommunications, and Information Technology Industry (Canieti).
