This is Susan, 20 years after 'The Chronicles of Narnia'

Londoner and born in 1988, Anna Popplewell began her acting career at just six years old, in productions that would become as popular as Mansfield Park or Girl with a Pearl Earring .
However, it was in 2005, when she was still sixteen, when she became internationally famous by giving life to Susan Pevensie in the film adaptation of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe .
Needless to say, after the immense success of the first installment, no one doubted that sequels would follow: Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader . The saga ended up grossing more than one and a half billion dollars worldwide.
After this resounding success, it came as no surprise that Popplewell continued to forge a career on screen, but she has also managed to excel in the theater, and moreover in Great Britain, where the culture and quality in this field have very high standards.
During her time at university, she appeared in plays such as Macbeth and Spring Awakening . She also provides her voice as a narrator for audiobooks such as Jane Eyre .
She became a mother in 2021 when she gave birth to her first daughter and has recently resumed her film career: she was part of the second part of The Nun (2023) and has two more titles in post-production.
Married since 2016 to fellow actor Sam Caird, the two currently maintain a quiet family life in their London residence, along with their daughter.
