Woman pretends to be Jennifer Aniston and takes 5,000 pesos from a man

Monica's Department.- A guy had 5 thousand pesos stolen from him with a fake account belonging to a woman pretending to be actress Jennifer Aniston, and it seems that someone was addicted to the series Friends .

The victim is Paul Davis, a 42-year-old man living in Southampton, England, who fell for a scam when he believed he was "talking" to Brad Pitt's ex-wife and sent her the equivalent of 5,000 pesos in Apple cards.

There's a "Jennifer Aniston" out there asking for Apple cards.

The same individual confessed to The Sun newspaper that he had been scammed by someone posing as the multi-talented actress, who he believed was in need of someone to give him £200 in prepaid cards.

According to Davis, the fake Jennifer gave him “multiple proof” of being real, such as sending him photos, videos, audio recordings of her voice, and even a personalized “I love you” message that sent him into a frenzy, including his wallet.

Obviously, everything she sent him was generated by artificial intelligence, and she even “warned” him not to talk to fake profiles, assuring him that this was her only real account.

It's worth noting that the scammed man was in a vulnerable situation, suffering from depression and unemployment, and now we have to add "in debt."

And in case you missed it: Nodal denied Angela Aguila's claim that he has never cooked for her.
