A man dies at an Oasis concert at Wembley after falling from a stand.

A man died Saturday after falling from a stand during a concert by British band Oasis at Wembley Stadium in London , police said Sunday.
"A man in his 40s was found with injuries consistent with a fall. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene," a statement from the London Metropolitan Police said yesterday.
"The stadium was packed with people, and we believe it's likely that several people witnessed the incident or, knowingly or unknowingly, recorded it on video with their cell phones," the statement added.
Oasis' Wembley concerts have set a new record for beer sales: more than 250,000 pints of beer were sold inside the stadium in one night , with approximately 4,500 kegs of beer distributed at each of the band's seven shows. The price of a pint (just over half a liter) was around nine euros, which represents sales of around 2.3 million euros worth of beer at the huge London stadium.
The figures were provided by Delaware North, the company responsible for catering at Wembley Stadium.
In a statement, the band Oasis said it was "shocked and saddened" by the death of a spectator.
"Oasis would like to express its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased," added the band led by Noel and Liam Gallagher, who have performed seven shows at Wembley. The Oasis reunion tour began on July 4 in Cardiff.
Wembley Stadium said that last night, "Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and police treated a concertgoer who had injuries consistent with a fall."
