Las Ventas: Two bullfighters to the infirmary in the first two bulls

The afternoon was marked by two mishaps that kicked off the event. Both occurred when they entered the arena to kill the first two bulls. Luis David Adame and José Fernando Molina met in the infirmary. They returned from it with admirable composure: the somersaults had been tough.
The blow to Luis David Adame's chest had the sound of leather tearing. Icy. The attendants quickly carried him away, his brother worried as he ran after them. It took a while for the encouraging news to arrive: it was a goring that traveled through the chest but didn't enter the thorax . Pending radiological examination, the prognosis was reserved, but that didn't prevent him from continuing the fight.

Regarding José Fernando Molina, the report from doctors García Padrós and García Leirado states that he suffered "a 10 cm wound from a bull's horn in the left groin area, reaching the lateral side of the penis and presenting an exit wound" and "a continuous stab wound with a hematoma on the inner side of the distal third of the right thigh ." Molina underwent surgery under local anesthesia and, also with a reserved prognosis, returned to the ring.
Each returned dressed as best they could. Adame, with a bandage under his jacket that held his entire chest in an X-shape. Molina, in jeans and without a jacket. The fans appreciated their gesture with a standing ovation. Both went to the pigpen gate to receive their respective bulls on their knees.
The Mexican, Adame, had been very bothered by the wind with that bull—more movement than class, somewhat uneven. With the fourth—dressed with a bandage on its chest—he showed great commitment, going to receive it at the porta gayola. A long, focused performance against a greedy Valdefresno bull. Everything he had done was ruined by the sword.
It was a heroic afternoon. José Fernando Molina was caught while going in to kill the weak third bull , who had good class, but with so much loss of his hands, there was no chance of showing off. He picked him up from the ground, inflicting the aforementioned 10-centimeter goring in the groin, also affecting his penis. He returned from the infirmary with a tremendous attitude.
Molina received the fourth bull on his knees. He had some very exciting moments, initially on his knees, as well as in the deep bullfighting on the right horn. He was more connected at the beginning, and he fought one by one at the end. A humble bull. The steel blades marred the performance. The misers stingy ones thwarted his return to the ring.
Christian Parejo completed the trio, who for a few minutes was the only matador in the ring while his teammates were in the infirmary. He put on a serious front against a field with potential. The third bull was classed, which he fought very well with his natural, and the manso, cast sixth bull was demanding, winning the day. The overall impression given by the Cadiz-born bull, forged in France, was well-liked .
Madrid remembered Manolo Lozano with a moving minute of silence. A very weak performance after the successful San Isidro.
