Dollar today: official exchange rate and different exchange rates this Monday, April 28

The official dollar is trading at $1,140 for purchase and $1,190 for sale at banks this Monday, April 28 .
As for the blue dollar , it's trading today at $1,190 for buying and $1,210 for selling. This represents a 4% gap with the official dollar. The value of the blue dollar differs substantially from the official dollar, which is purchased at banks and has a fixed exchange rate.
On the other hand, the tourist dollar (also known as the solidarity dollar ) is trading at $1,547. This value is used when purchasing dollars for savings or making transactions abroad and is derived from the addition of 30% to the official dollar value of the day.
Another exchange rate is the wholesale dollar , which starts the day at $1,212.50 for purchases and $1,216.35 for sales.
Regarding the Contado con liqui (CCL), the reference price is $1,190. The CCL is the transaction that allows companies to buy Argentine bonds in the local market and sell them abroad, thereby obtaining foreign currency for "hoarding."
Today in Argentina, there are at least six different exchange rates for the US currency, some more widely used than others.
Savings/card dollar or tourist/solidarity dollar : This includes a 30% surcharge imposed by the Government on purchases made with a card in foreign currency and on the acquisition of foreign currency for hoarding within the official circuit.
Blue dollar : This is the bill sold on the informal market, through caves or “arbolitos” on the street.
Contado con Liqui (Contact with Liqui ): This is a legal transaction for obtaining dollars abroad. It has become the preferred method for companies. Argentine securities or shares are purchased in pesos and then sold abroad in dollars.
Official or retail dollar : This is the price available to individuals, but always within the US$200 threshold established by the currency controls.
Wholesale dollar : This is the dollar used for foreign trade, payment of dollarized debts, and dividends. Theoretically, it influences the pricing of imported products.
Dollar for industry and services : Due to the effect of withholding taxes, exporters of manufactured goods and services actually receive a dollar at a lower value than the official rate, and much lower than the blue rate. Within this category, there are different values for those who export meat and dairy products, wheat, corn, sunflowers, and soybeans.
