MEXICO CITY.— This Wednesday the 30th, the Mexican currency opens in international markets around 18.82 pesos per dollar , which means a depreciation of 0.35% or 7 cents compared to the previous day, according to information from Bloomberg .
The exchange rate showed upward volatility overnight; today, the peso is affected by the strengthening of the dollar after traders evaluated the U.S. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) figures.
This last aspect completely mitigated the positive performance of the Mexican economy in the second quarter of 2025.
This Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the price of the dollar in Mexico opened the retail day with a maximum selling price of 19.802 pesos per dollar .
According to information from various banking institutions, at the opening, the US dollar is selling for up to 19.802 pesos at Bank of America branches, while the maximum purchase price is 18.26 pesos at Citibanamex bank counters.

At purchase, the lowest price is 17.65 pesos per dollar offered by Banorte and Banco Azteca, and the highest is 18.26 pesos per dollar offered by Citibanamex.
