Samsung Electro-Mechanics Co., a leading South Korean electronics component maker, has abandoned plans to build a new manufacturing plant in Mexico and dissolved its local unit amid tensions stemming from President Donald Trump's shift in tariff policy, The Korean Economic Daily reported.
