Extremadura companies will receive new aid to promote teleworking in the region: 2,500 euros for each agreement signed with employees . Each company or self-employed person may benefit from up to four agreements, and the amount may be increased by 1,000 euros if the female employment rate is equal to that of men in the workplace.

The newly appointed spokesperson for the Regional Government of Extremadura, Elena Manzano, emphasized that this new line of aid approved by the Governing Council represents the "Government's commitment from the outset" to advance equality policies and to promote work-life balance, so that mothers do not have to give up their careers.

This initiative marks another step forward in the region's productive fabric to promote teleworking and provide families with greater flexible working hours.

In total, the Extremadura Regional Government will allocate a budget of one million euros.

Also in the area of equality, the signing of an agreement to finance taxi travel for victims of gender-based violence and their children has been authorized. This agreement has been signed with a 40% increase in the budget, reaching €85,000 for these professionals to carry out this work in 2025 and 2026.
