Feijóo entrusts Moreno with the ideological rearmament of the Popular Party

Alberto Núñez Feijóo has entrusted two of his most influential figures, the president of the Andalusian Regional Government, Juanma Moreno, and the president of the Castile and León Regional Government, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, with the ideological rearmament of the Popular Party for the national congress that the party will hold on July 5 and 6 in Madrid.

Both regional presidents will also be accompanied by two "accredited managers," MEP Alma Ezcurra and the mayor of Zaragoza, Natalia Chueca, to coordinate the work of the party's political committee.

Following the confirmation yesterday of the appointment of the president of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, the president of the Junta de Extremadura, María Guardiola, the mayor of Santander, Gema Igual, and the PP spokesperson in Barcelona City Council, Dani Sirera, to lead the committee on statutes , it only remains to be revealed who will preside over the conclave that Génova hopes will serve as a "boost" for the second half of the legislature.

The Popular Party is convinced that the government will not survive "the corruption surrounding" its president. "He has more open legal proceedings against him than he has a budget," and has "more defendants in his ranks than laws passed by the PSOE in the Cortes Generales," Carmen Fúnez criticized him yesterday.

Alberto Núñez Feijóo's party is confident that the national congress they will hold in July will serve as a catalyst for the second half of the legislative period.

From Talavera de la Reina, where she participated in Members' Day, the PP's deputy secretary of organization praised the value of membership as "the party's most important raw material," which, in her opinion, will contribute to accelerating the transition to the presidency of a country that she finds in an "unsustainable" situation.

"We are facing an international tariff war and a change in the geostrategic situation with the worst possible government," Fúnez denounced, also portraying a Pedro Sánchez entrenched in La Moncloa to "protect" himself from judicial investigations into his entourage.

"The president isn't here to govern or manage, he's here to protect himself. A government is one that cares about the problems of the Spanish people. And Sánchez's government is on the verge of a nervous breakdown, because they're more focused on news of corruption than on the problems that concern and harm the Spanish people," he said.
